The basic idea
We can provide a day's guided birdwatching in the county of Rutland, England's smallest county. Dominating the birding scene is world-famous Rutland Water, but there is also a rich variety of other habitats: river valleys, woodlands, quarries and farmland.
It is quite possible to see 100 species of birds on a good day.

The day will be individually tailored to suit:
-
the birthday boy or girl
-
time of year
-
weather conditions.
Group size is one, two or three people.
We'll meet you in Rutland (or a nearby railway station) and you can leave the rest to us. We'll take you to well known and unknown birdwatching sites.
Stop at one of Rutland's many country pubs for a break in the middle of the day if you wish.
The day can be made to suit anyone with an interest in birds, beginners or more experienced birdwatchers.
